Who am I? What do I want?
Deepak Chopra gives these as some of the essential questions we need to ask ourselves everyday.
These questions lead me to ask a third question of myself…
Who am I? What do I want? . . .And is the life I am leading reflective of the answers to those questions?
That question lead to more questions: What am I just doing out of habit? What am I doing for fear of failing? Where am I spending most of my time and energy? Are the efforts I am putting forth just getting me to a safe place or to the things I truly want? Are the things I am pursuing today in line with the my values and goals?
It is easy to get caught up in the daily grind. The worry, the social norms, and other distractions. . .
When we ask ourselves essential questions our focus is shifted from a place of just living out our ordinary days to a place of reflection that allows us to have a greater vision for who we want to be and what we truly want to offer the world. It allows us to redirect our energy and efforts towards our goals. The authenticity in our lives will have us choosing actions that will naturally lead to manifesting our truest desires.
