Breathe In, Breath Out, Let Go!

Fall is a time for letting go. In Eastern Medicine, it is correlated with the lung and the large intestine, both organs of purification and elimination. You take in that which benefits you, and eliminate that which no longer serves. Take deeps breaths this season and let go with each exhalation. Poor breathing robs you of energy and negatively affects mental alertness. Deep breathing detoxifies the body, releases toxins, massages the organs, strengthens the immune system, and relieves tension. Practice deep abdominal breathing at least three times a day.

Choose what nourishes you, extract what you need, and eliminate waste so you can grow properly. You want to generate evolution and change. It is important both physically and mentally. Take in foods, beverages, thoughts, and ideas that will make you feel good. Eliminate toxic foods and thinking. Discover how good you can feel when you do just these simple things.
