When we know what to do, at least we know what actions to take, even if we aren’t taking them (that is another issue). However, when we don’t know what to do we float in indecision and can become paralyzed in this place and forget to move forward due to fear of making the wrong choice. Not making a choice, is a choice. If you don’t know what to do, try something. Just pick an option and go for it, at least you will have movement in your life and learn something. If it turns out to be the wrong thing, at least now you can cross an option off the list and continue to move forward with another option.
I love this lesson from Danielle LaPorte, lose the phrase “I don’t know.” It isn’t empowering, it doesn’t feel good to say or think about, and it accomplishes nothing. Instead say and think “I’ll figure it out.” It feels better to say and implies forward motion in life. Things are working out, you’re figuring it out.
